Greetings from Eugene, Oregon and welcome to ok vancouver ok's newsletter. We are hanging out waiting for things to get rolling at the Wandering Goat. Excited to play another show tonight! we have had some really great shows to start off our tour. thanks to everyone who helped set up shows and came out to watch our sets. Seattle, Olympia, Astoria, Seaview and Portland ! Liza had to go home to vancouver for a little bit. We miss her and her bass lines. And look forward to her rejoining the tour in Texas! here is what is going with ok vancouver ok lately:
||| FOOD SHELTER WATER |||
Our latest effort is out on vinyl (King Fisher Bluez) and cassette (lost sound tapes). We are so excited to have worked on Food Shelter Water with Eli Moore (LAKE) and are really proud of the final product. It was recorded over a few days last december at the Bayview Community Hall on Whidbey Island. A big thanks to Eli for all his hard work. And to Ashley Eriksson for lending her lovely voice.
The album was accompanied by a photographic project. Since January Jeff has worked had to capture 100 portraits of peoples faces that have helped make ok vancouver ok possible over the years. All of the photo's were taken on Jeff's minolta using colour film. we processed the imagees and enlarged them to create a large scale version of the album cover for the release show.

We have just begun a 6 month tour that is going to take us from the pacific northwest south and then east and then north-west and then north and then south east and then north and then east and then west and then on an airplane to europe! you can find our full dates online.
We are excited to be touring with Katie and the Lichen. Jeff and Katie have toured together on multiple occasions since 2007 and it feels good to be on the road together again. Katie's new album, Yours Truly, is available for pre-order and it is really rad!
